Structural repair

Missing, damaged or destroyed parts of a model are repaired, remade and replaced in order to fit the dinosaur model again. 

Remodeling and replacing damaged parts

Inner layer of a dinosaur model consisting of foam and outer layer consisting of silicone and rubber are carefully repaired and sewn back together in order to remain flexible. Damaged or missing eyes and teeth are replaced.

Special paint

Oil based paints are mixed with silicone to coat the  model to retain flexibility, texture and endure harsh weather conditions. 

Protective coating

Models are coated with protective varnish and the finishing touches are added.

Before

Our preparation process ensures every model is ready for a smooth, durable finish. Models are cleaned to remove dust, filth and residue; old paint is carefully sanded away and primer is applied to improve paint adhesion and provide a consistent base for the final coat.

After

New paint is applied to your liking in multiple layers, creating a realistic finish that brings the dinosaur back to life. Each layer adds depth, color, and detail to achieve the most natural appearance possible. Finally, a protective layer of varnish is applied to help preserve the paint and ensure it can withstand harsh outdoor conditions.

What types of dinosaur models do you restore?

We restore all types of dinosaur and other models in your amusement park or museum. We repair and repaint glassfibre and polyester models and other plastic models. We repair animatronic models made out of sponge and other flexible rubber materials. Also, we repair models made out of textile and other soft materials like fleece and artificial fur.

Can you reconstruct missing eyes, teeth, claws, jaws and other body parts?

Yes. We hand-sculpt missing pieces and replace them, ensuring anatomical accuracy before blending them seamlessly with original paint. No matter the damage of your model, we can bring it back to life!

How long does a typical restoration project take?

Repairs depend on the severity of damage and the level of custom repaint required as well as the amount of models that have to be restored or repainted. Contact us, and we will estimate the time required to restore your models.

Do you accept international projects?

Absolutely, we regularly repair, remodel and repaint dinosaur models throughout various amusement parks in Europe.

How do I receive an initial quote?

Contact us via e-mail and we will visit your park personally and give you an offer based on your dinosaur models. Or simply via e-mail send high-resolution photos of the damaged areas along with dimensions, and we will provide an initial assessment and estimate. 

What paints and sealants do you use?

Every model requires different materials and solutions. Dinosaur animatronics made out of sponge and rubber require special paint mixture made out of silicone and oil paints to stay flexible on the moving animatronic and endure harsh weather conditions outside. Plastic models require firstly to be cleaned, old paint is removed, primer is applies, then high quality color and protective coating in the end.
